Visit to the SmartH2O Water-Meter Project in Locarno/Tegna (TI)
On a day-trip to Locarno we met representatives from SmartH2O, SES, local water authorities and water users and were introduced to the umbrella project and its applications.
Installation of optical monitoring of channel flow in Luotuocheng district (Heihe)
In November we visited the field site in Handan to evaluate the progress in installation of meters and collect data from the different Water departments.
International Annual Workshop in Beijing
The 2015 annual workshop of the project was held in Beijing under the title: Strategies for Management and Control of Overpumped Aquifers.
Visit of chinese delegation from Handan and Guantao
A delegation of 10 participants including officials from the Ministry of Water Resources, experts and engineers from GIWP, local project implementation team from Handan and Guantao, came to Switzerland on September 14, 2015 for a study tour.
