Visit of chinese delegation from Handan and Guantao
A delegation of 10 participants including officials from the Ministry of Water Resources, experts and engineers from GIWP, local project implementation team from Handan and Guantao, came to Switzerland on September 14, 2015 for a study tour.
A visit program for 8 days has been organized by the Swiss expert team. The 8-day study tour includes briefing meeting, visit to Zurich Hardhof water supply, re-naturalization of Limmat River, visit to GeoPraevent’s real-time monitoring netwowrk and demonstration of Photrack’s real-time surface water monitoring system, official meeting with BAFU and SDC for groundwater management, demonstration of real-time river monitoring stations in Switzerland, visit to ancient irrigation system and irrigation museum in Wallis, visit of French Alsace agriculture practice and irrigation system, etc.
