Visit by Chinese Delegation from Gaotai, Zhangye

A visit program for 7 days has been organized by the Swiss expert team. The study tour included the re-naturalization project on the river Limmat, a visit to GeoPraevent’s real-time monitoring network, a demonstration of Photrack’s real-time surface water monitoring system at the Limmat, flood protection at the “Kanderdurchstich” and renaturalization of the Aare in Canton of Berne, a trip to the Schilthorn and the Trümmelbach falls, irrigation practice at a farm near Berne, irrigation practice in Alsace, the city of Strasbourg, the upper Rhine barrages and the Rhine water fall.
